What is junk journaling?

Junk journaling is a creative way to turn everyday things into art. Think stickers, tickets, photos, receipts, magazine pages, notes, pretty paper, and anything else you want to save. There are no rules. You can collage, write, doodle, layer, and decorate your pages however you like. It is a fun way to be creative, preserve memories, and make something that feels like you.

What's included?

Your ticket gives you access to a HUGE collection of junk journal supplies. We have it all!

✨ Stickers
✂️ Scissors & glue
📰 Magazines
📜 Ephemera
🎀 Washi tape & other tapes
📄 Background papers
🖍️ Markers & colored pencils

And that's not all! Every attendee will receive their own Junk Journal Scrap Pack filled with background papers, stickers, and ephemera. Use it during the meetup or take it home to save for a future spread!

We'll also have light bites and drinks for you to enjoy while you create.

BYOJ: Bring Your Own Journal!

Bring your own journal and any photos, keepsakes, or “junk you'd like to add to your pages.

Never junk journaled before? No problem! We'll help you get started and create your very first spread. If you're feeling stuck, we'll also have mystery junk journal prompts to give you a little inspiration.

At the end of our meetup, we'll have a little journal share! We'll pass our journals around so everyone can see what others created, swap ideas, and get inspired for future spreads. It is a fun way to see how everyone puts their own creative spin on their pages.

Whether you're a seasoned junk journaler or have never made a spread before, everyone is welcome! Come create, get inspired, and spend time with a group of creative, like-minded people.

Not sure what kind of journal to get? Let me know. I'm happy to help!
